Welcome to Kindergarten! I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year and to begin this wonderful journey together.
I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. This is my second year teaching at Legacy Point Elementary, and I’m thrilled to be returning to Kindergarten—a grade level that holds a special place in my heart.
Before moving to Colorado, I taught Kindergarten and First Grade for eleven years in New York and Pennsylvania. After that, I spent eight wonderful years at home raising my two children, Finley and Carter, who now also attend Legacy Point Elementary. I hold a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and certifications in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
My family and I moved to Castle Rock two and a half years ago, and we have loved making this community our home. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, working out, reading, and traveling.
Teaching young children is truly my passion. Kindergarten is a year filled with incredible growth, curiosity, and discovery, and I feel so fortunate to be a part of it. I can't wait to get to know your child, celebrate their successes, and work together to make this an amazing year of learning!
Lizbeth Miranda
Hello! My name is Lizbeth Miranda, and I’m thrilled to be starting my 5th year at Legacy Point. My teaching journey began as a preschool teacher in Fort Gordon, Georgia, and I’ve been lucky to continue doing what I love here at Legacy Point.
I’m a proud mom of two—my daughter is an 8th grader at Sagewood Middle, and my son is a 4th grader right here at Legacy Point. My husband served in the military for 22 years, which gave our family the unique opportunity to travel and experience life in many different places.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me singing and dancing, enjoying delicious tacos, or watching a movie.
We have an exciting year ahead, and I can’t wait to get to know your child so we can learn, grow, and make lasting memories together. I truly believe that when we work as a team, we can make a big difference—so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Here is a little bit about me! I have lived in Colorado my entire life and currently live in Parker with my husband and two kids. Bailey is my oldest and she will be starting at Ponderosa this year. Evan is my youngest and will be in 7th grade at Sagewood. Both kids started preschool at Legacy Point and went all the way through 5th grade. We absolutely love the culture and community here at Legacy Point. This will be my 8th year at Legacy Point and I am looking forward to a great year in kindergarten. In my free time I love to cook, go hiking and spend time with my family.
