Tonight, Ponderosa High School continues the celebration of its 40th anniversary with a BBQ Tailgate and home football game against Fort Collins High School. Both events take place at EchoPark Stadium in Parker. Learn more. >>

The annual Charity Bike and Car Show benefiting our very own Bridge Program takes place tomorrow, Saturday, August 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lone Tree Brewing Company. Learn more. >>

Legacy Point Elementary is celebrating its 20th Anniversary complete with a DJ, bounce houses, a photo booth, food trucks, and more. The event takes place tomorrow, Saturday, August 26 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Legacy Point Elementary in Parker.
In addition, next week, Douglas County High School will officially dedicate its new turf field as the Jan Shawcroft Field. Ms. Shawcroft recently retired after serving as a DCHS staff member for 44 years! The event takes place on Tuesday, August 31 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the DCHS field. Learn more. >>

Tom Graves, from NASA to Substitute Teacher
Growing up in rural Louisiana in a town of 1,200 people and graduating high school in a class of 23 people, Tom Graves never imagined he would someday land a job at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). After working on top missions and helping land a man on the moon, Tom now shares his life experiences as a substitute teacher at Legend High School in Parker. Read more. >>
Military Dad Surprises His Children at Eldorado Elementary Assembly
Earlier this month, Eldorado Elementary students fifth grader Skylar and second grader Nolan were surprised by seeing their dad for the first time in over 280 days. Sergeant Ryan Ernst had been deployed with the Army for almost 10 months. His family was sure happy to see him! Welcome home Sergeant and thank you for your service! STEM School Sixth Grader Wins Paradigm World Challenge
Congratulations to STEM School Highlands Ranch 6th grader Anirudh Rao who won the Paradigm World Challenge! The ceremony was held in Los Angeles and Anirudh earned the recognition for inventing an early warning system for tornadoes. He is the youngest to ever receive this particular award, which includes legal consultation to move forward with the patent process.
Colorado Prep Football: 100 impact players to watch in 2023
Congratulations to the high school football players from DCSD who made this list which was published in The Denver Post.
