Preschool
We are proud of our excellent Preschool Program and we encourage families to enroll their children. The Douglas County Preschool Program is an inclusive program for both typically developing students and students identified with special needs. Class is a 2-hour and 45-minute session. Both morning and afternoon sessions are available. Currently, there are three Preschool Classrooms located at Legacy Point Elementary.
Students who are age 3 on or before October 1, 2024 are eligible to register and begin school at the start of the school year in August. Students who turn 3 after October 1, 2024 are eligible to register and begin school on their 3rd birthday. To align with district practice, students who are 5 years of age on or before October 1, 2024 are eligible for kindergarten and not eligible for preschool for the 2024-25 school year. For more information on enrollment procedures, availability and/or tuition, please visit the DCSD Preschool Program or call the Preschool Hotline at (720) 433-0025.
