Battle of the Books is a bowl-style trivia tournament that's all about books, engaging hundreds of young minds every year.

Dozens of teams in grades 3-6 compete against each other in inter-school battles and finals tournaments to determine a districtwide champion for all of Douglas County.

Choir is offered in the fall and spring semesters. Students work with Mr. Whincop to choose songs for their performance. Choir is open to all 3rd-5th graders and will meet before school on Thursday mornings.

Crazy 8's is a math club unlike any other! It offers unique, high-energy math activities that appeal to kids of all math abilities. The club is designed for after-school programs in schools, libraries or other community centers where kids come together to have fun.

In Destination Imagination (DI), students work together in teams to solve open-ended STEAM challenges designed to teach the creative process. The creative process is a step-by-step approach that helps students better understand problems and ask better questions, come up with solutions, learn from failure, and celebrate their achievements.

In going through this process, kids learn vital life and career skills—creative thinking, critical thinking, public speaking, and collaborative problem-solving—that help them feel empowered and set them up for success in their future.

PE Club is offered in the fall and spring for all students. The cost is $20 and all money goes toward the purchasing of new PE equipment. Students will participate in all types of games, activities and sports. There is a emphasis on leadership and sportsmanship in all activities. 

Students in grades 2-5 can apply to be in SLC at the beginning of each school year. SLC organizes school events, assemblies, creates announcements and works within the community. SLC works within the framework of Leader In Me, where students choose which action teams to work on. Action Teams can include Video Announcements, Assembly Team, Special Events and Mentor Team.
